Soft pink cracked-glass bracelet with butterfly, heart, and crown charms
All bead bracelets are strung on elastic cord with an unstretched diameter of approximately 17 cm. They comfortably fit most adult wrists. To check your fit:
| Wrist circumference | Fit |
|---|---|
| Under 14 cm (5.5 in) | Snug — may feel tight |
| 14–17 cm (5.5–6.7 in) | Ideal fit |
| 17–18 cm (6.7–7 in) | Comfortable stretch |
| Above 18 cm (7 in) | Contact us before ordering |
To measure: wrap a soft tape measure snugly around your wrist just above the wrist bone. No tape measure? A strip of paper + ruler works too.
Crackle glass beads are made by rapidly cooling hot glass, which causes the interior to fracture into a fine network of cracks. These internal fractures refract light at multiple angles, producing the iridescent shimmer effect. Each bead is unique — the crack pattern is random, so no two beads look exactly the same under light.
The charms are attached at the design phase, not added as afterthoughts. They sit as part of the beaded structure rather than dangling from a loop. That said, we recommend not snagging the bracelet on rough surfaces or pulling the charm directly — regular gentle everyday wear is fine.
The iridescent effect in our crackle glass beads comes from the internal crack structure of the glass, not from an external coating. The shimmer is structural, not painted on, so it does not peel or chip. The only thing that can dull the appearance over time is accumulated residue from lotions or perfumes — a wipe with a soft dry cloth restores the look.
Yes — the elastic cord and glass beads are built for regular everyday wear. Remove before swimming, bathing, or the gym, keep away from perfumes and lotions, and store flat or in the box when not wearing. With basic care, the bracelet will hold its finish and elasticity through months of daily use.
Iridescent beads shift between multiple colours depending on the angle — they have depth. Holographic beads produce a rainbow pattern from a reflective metallic coating on the surface, which is more uniform and less organic-looking. AB (Aurora Borealis) finish is a specific factory coating applied to the outside of the bead. Iridelle's crackle glass beads produce iridescence through internal light refraction, not surface coating — the effect is subtler and more natural than AB or holographic beads.
Soft-girl, angelcore, Y2K revival, pastel aesthetic, and fairy-core are the styles most associated with iridescent glass beads. The butterfly and angel-wing charms specifically align with soft-girl and angelcore wardrobes. The bracelets also work in minimalist everyday styling — the glass is subtle enough in neutral colourways to read as quiet jewellery.
